Digital Humanities: How to Use Data in the Humanities

This Common Quandaries workshop provides a brief overview of the Digital Humanities from a practical and theoretical perspective with a summary of recent literature, a demonstration of interesting projects, and some hands-on experimentation. We will survey different types of data in the humanities and how they are used for research purposes, such as geographical data for historical mapping, and textual data for historical and literary analysis.
