Fleece to Fabric - 3. Carding or Combing Your Fleece

As we continue our Season 7 theme where we examine the full process of going from fleece to fabric, in today's episode we continue processing Venice, a Jacobs fleece from Meridian Jacobs in California by comparing carding and combing. If we want a woolen prep (fibers not aligned) we will card. If we want a worsted prep (fibers aligned) we will comb. I also recommend "51 Yarns to Spin Before You Cast Off" by Jacey Boggs Faulkner (link below) for your fiber resource library.
