TOGETHER Cayman, Stronger Together, Mark De-Lisser, Ironshore Studios, For King & Country

"Stronger Together Choral Festival" proudly brought together a wide range of our young people, in a celebration of music and song. It involved 185 singers (ages 4-18) from Cayman Youth Choirs, as well as at-risk youngsters from our Boyz2Men and RISE Girls organisations and students from The Lighthouse School, for students with individual learning challenges. Each organisation will had a workshop, led by renowned director, Mark De-Lisser and supported by the CYC team, during which they focused on one collaborative song and one song, just for that group of singers. Mid-week each group had a session at a recording studio, Ironshore Studios, where they recorded the collaborative song. This song was then edited together to create a united performance, a legacy piece for the community to continue to enjoy for years to come. At the end of the week, all our young people came together to share their performances in a Gala Concert, which showcased the unifying power of music and song; all of Cayman's youth coming together to sing, regardless of the school they attend, the district they live in, or the individual challenges they may face. We are truly "Stronger Together."
