Ima mo, Arigato — Ascendance of a Bookworm S4 ED (Piano Cover) / Erika Ikuta

I confess that I have a very soft spot for fantasy anime. This soundtrack was pretty cosy and I liked it a lot. Of course this is one of my less serious arrangements, so I'm just putting this out there while I work on more exciting things. As usual, please feel free to contact me via email (down below) for the sheet music. Something I found pretty nice from the original was the canonic writing, which shows up at 0:53 and other places. I have faithfully kept it intact. At 1:40 there is something like tension between the melody (in 6/8 time) and the accompaniment (with the minim-crotchet pattern suggesting 3/4 time). Had I been more invested in this arrangement I might have further explored ways to highlight this tension between simple and compound metre. A good number of you have sent in lovely emails.
