Pour thick batter into greased 8x8. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°. When the cake is right out of the oven pour hot caramel sauce over top. Caramel Sauce: In a saucepan melt, 1/4 C butter, 1/2 C brown sugar, 2 Tbsp milk. Boil for 3 minutes without stirring. Then add 1/2 tsp vanilla. Pour over hot cake. Cool cake for 1 hour and then slice and enjoy!
