VOCÊ CONHECE A MELHOR CERVEJA DO MUNDO??? WESTVLETEREN: JOIAS RARAS

Tonight we opened three rare gems, which, regardless of being expired since 2016/2017 and 2018, presented unparalleled aroma and flavor. Westvleteren are Trappist abbey beers, that is, they have the seal of the Cistercian Order (or Trappist Order) which guarantees that production is at least supervised by Trappist monks. These beers are difficult to get if you don't have any friends to try to receive them at home in Belgium, as today there is a delivery service that delivers up to 24 units of a single label. Until recently, you could only enter the monastery of Saint Sixtus by appointment, providing your license plate and presenting your passport (if you are a foreigner). Watch the video and see the curious story of a friend of ours who brought a BLOND, which we tried again today and we were delighted with the quality of this golden floral Belgian ale and which, despite having expired in 2016, had a wonderful foam. The second of the night was WESTVLETEREN 8, a highly respected dubbel, with a toasted and caramel aroma, hints of plum, dark brown color and dense collar (expired in 2017). WESTVLETEREN 12 has been voted the best beer in the world a few times. It's a very complex 10.2% ABV quadruple that expired in 2018. It didn't worry about time and proved to have an excellent guard time. It is still one of the greatest beer icons in the world, authorized to produce by King Leopold I in 1839 and we thank Ricardo Perazzetta for the privilege. Note that these beers are quite cheap for the quality they present, costing between 4 and 5 euros each when tasted at the abbey bar.
