Third completed run of this game for me, but I managed to mess up the recording for the first two runs (first one messed up audio, and second one, I didn't record at the right FPS). Actually liked that game more than I would have expected lol. Few strats different from previous runners : Checking the map : runners knew to check the map, but didn't apparently know about swapping floors on the map with L/R ?? (they had to change floors to actually see what was on the map on that specific floor) Block push skip : for some door pieces locations in W1, you are supposed to push a block that will serve as a platform. However, you can use the platforms nearby to get the door piece without having to push that block, by juming and hold down immediately after (timing is lenient, a handful of frames) Boss strats : not necessarly super consistent or anything, but it seems that spamming R from a certain distance works well on W5 boss, and kinda works on W2 boss aswell. Consistency in the level generation (W3+W5?): turns out that the map of every level in world 3 is consistent, aswell as in which room are the door pieces (their position can move in that same room though), so don't need to check the map on W3. I didn't check map on first level of world 5 because I was confident enough, but I checked it for the other levels of world 5. Potential improvements : more research on the level generation consistency in worlds 3 and 5 : door pieces should be at the same rooms each time, but maybe enemy location is consistent aswell, which would be super useful to lower time. Maybe look for other boss strats (W4 boss is still annoying, as you can't hit it with a roar most of the time, because he's higher than the floor).
