Joint Visit to a Filipino-Canadian Owned Business: Jollibee Granville

Marcos Jr. and Prime Minister Mark Carney visited a Jollibee branch on Granville Street in Vancouver on July 2, 2026. Jollibee Foods Corporation is among the Philippines’ most globally recognized brands, with an expanding international footprint across North America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. In Canada, Jollibee is entering its 10th year, with plans to expand to more than 85 locations nationwide. It is expected to support substantial job creation for Canadians and Filipinos, strengthen economic ties between the two countries, increase exports of Philippine-made products, and boost Philippine esports services through franchising royalties. According to the Department of Trade and Industry, Canada is Jollibee’s second-largest export market for Philippine food products.
