Beautiful Apple Roses Made from Puff Pastry - Easy, Elegant, and Delicious

Ingredients: For 10 apple roses: • 1 package ready-made puff pastry (430 g) • 2-3 red apples • 65 g sugar • Vanilla sugar and cinnamon, to taste (optional) • 1 tsp lemon juice Instructions: Cut the apples in half, remove the cores, and slice them into thin slices about 3-4 mm thick. Place them in a saucepan, drizzle with lemon juice, cover with water, and place over medium heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 2 minutes, just until the slices become flexible enough to bend. Don't cook them any longer, or they'll become too soft. Drain the water and let the apples cool slightly while you prepare the pastry. Roll out the pastry and cut it into equal strips about 7 cm wide. I use yeast-raised puff pastry. If you're using vanilla sugar and cinnamon, mix them with the sugar. Sprinkle about 1½ tsp of the sugar mixture down the center of each strip. Arrange the apple slices along the upper half of the strip, slightly overlapping, as shown in the video. Fold the bottom edge of the pastry over the apples, then carefully roll everything up into a rose shape. Lightly pinch the end to seal it and place the finished rose into a muffin pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Once baked, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy! They're incredibly easy to make, yet look absolutely beautiful.
