Pope Leo XIV Set to Visit Tomb of His Spiritual Father St. Augustine | EWTN News Nightly

Pope Leo XIV is making a visit to northern Italy, where he will travel to the town of Pavia, near Milan. He will visit the Basilica of San Pietro in Ciel d’Oro, where the remains of Saint Augustine have been kept for centuries. Pope Leo will also meet patients at a major cancer treatment center specifically for children. The Pope will then proceed to Pavia Cathedral, where he will meet with members of the South American community, concluding his trip in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, where the first American pope will venerate the heart of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, the first American canonized saint.
