Let's solve together: Wil Strijbos' First Cross puzzle - I FLUKED it
I am super happy to have acquired this First Cross by Wil Strijbos, it has been highly regarded in the mechanical puzzle community, saying that this is one of the stepping stones towards collector grade mechanical puzzles. When opening the box I can already feel the difference when comparing to the Hanayama counterparts. It is very weighty and feels solid in the hands, and the finishing is smooth, with Wil's signature laser printed on the body. I solved the puzzle inadvertently, I must admit, embarrassingly. Not fluking it once, but at several occasions, and I am not proud of that. However, after disassembling it makes me realise the thoughts put into the design, and how much puzzle mechanisms are packed into this tiny little heavy puzzle. Highly recommended, solving it was really fun, the difficulty level is just right for 1 sitting (around 30-45 minutes). With proper care I think this will last for at least 10 years if not much longer. Get this puzzle through this affiliate link to Puzzle Master's website here: https://shrsl.com/37uah
