Has the horror genre left behind any monster that we are yet to discover? Because as far as I know, this genre has given us dozens of memorable monsters throughout the history of cinema, but then again, there are some that are unique in their own right, like the creatures we see at the centre of Tremors. This franchise introduces us to these giant underground creatures known as Graboids, and I have to say they are among horror’s nastiest biological designs. They don’t need eyes because the ground itself tells them where their prey is, their heads have some kind of armoured beak, and their mouths hide these snake-like grabbing tongues.
