CityStream: Before the Viaduct
Getting through Seattle on I-5 or Highway 99/the Viaduct is sometimes smooth and quick, and other times, a little less so. As congested as these highways can be nowadays, it's easy to take them for granted, as if they always were an option. Feliks Banel takes us on a trip back in time, to the days not so many years ago, before I-5 and the Viaduct existed, for a road trip through Seattle, circa 1950.
