Cheap Multiband HF Antenna
A quick and easy to build vertical for local QSO's. Using a radio with a built in tuner or a low cost after market tuner this antenna will tune on ALL bands from 160m to 6m. You will need: 1.7m of 50mm dia PVC pipe 17m of speaker wire 7 cable ties 9:1 unun Optional clamps and heatshrink I receive lots of antenna designs, some work and some don't, this one worked after changing the unun to a 9:1 This antenna is for local QSOs, it is the equivalent of a rubber duck antenna on a handheld vs a full size resonant antenna, both work but one is for local comms and one is for longer distance comms.
