Letitia Wright goes behind the camera to make ‘Highway to the Moon’ screening at LFF2025

Described by her as a coming of age fantasy drama that plays in the Mapped Out Futures shorts strand at LFF. Borne out of the tragedy of losing a friend who was stabbed, the film explores a netherworld – one of beauty and hope but also possibly hidden dangers and traps. Wright talks about her experience of going behind the camera for the first time – instead of being in front of it and mentions her cast and the challenges she faced in bringing this film to the screen and what it means to be at LFF with her first film.
