Was ich dir noch erzählen wollte… | Judith Grümmer | TEDxFreiburg
What remains when time together is limited? Judith Grümmer tells the story of how a simple idea gave rise to an extraordinary social enterprise that gives terminally ill parents a voice. She shares moving encounters, the power of autobiographical storytelling, and why personal stories are often the most precious legacy for children. An inspiring talk about memory, humanity, and the importance of listening—even in life's most difficult moments. Judith Grümmer is the founder of Familienhörbuch gGmbH (Family Audiobook Ltd.), which she launched in 2019. Through her social enterprise, she enables terminally ill mothers and fathers to record their life stories as professionally produced audiobooks. The resulting family audiobooks preserve memories, values, and personal messages for their children, creating a lasting legacy. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
