How to sew a Panama hat. Part 1. Creating a pattern is easy and simple! I hated throwing away my husband's shirt – it had been in use for about fifteen years and was no longer the right size, but the fabric hadn't frayed. I decided to give it a second life. I really like the fabric, which is cotton, quite thick, and the coloring is beautiful. I decided to make the hat pattern myself and am sharing the idea with you! I think once you understand the principle, it's easy to make the hat you want yourself. I'm publishing a video of how to sew this hat in two parts – in the first, we'll create the pattern and cut it out, literally modeling it from rectangles, and in the second, we'll sew the hat. After this hat, I'll sew several more for all my relatives. I'll experiment with the cut – I'll make the brim wider or narrower, the crown higher or lower – basically, there's plenty of room for imagination and let your imagination run wild!
