A debris flow swept through Cancia, a hamlet of Borca di Cadore (Belluno), during the night between Sunday, June 15th and Monday, June 16th, causing damage and disruption. State Road 51 Alemagna was closed for a long time between Pieve di Cadore and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Mud and rocks submerged several vehicles, invaded the streets, and surrounded the lower floors of houses, trapping many residents inside their homes throughout the night. "A downpour lasting about twenty minutes, perhaps half an hour, on Mount Antelao caused a landslide," explained a resident of Borca di Cadore. "It's a historic landslide in Cancia, a hamlet of Borca.
