In the early 2000s, Titãs planned a return to their rock roots, but the universe wrote a different script. Between democratic votes and studio arrangements, "Epitáfio" almost didn't make it onto the album, saved only by the insistence of Marcelo Fromer, the man who was the emotional foundation of the band. What no one could have predicted is that, a few months later, fiction would be run over by reality on an avenue in São Paulo. Verses about everyday regrets became a terrifying premonition.
