Bilan semaine 2 de juillet : mon budget gagne en souplesse

Welcome to my channel! I'm 64 years old, I live alone, and I'm testing out my future retirement budget before I actually retire. I own my apartment, I have a cat, a car, and I heat my home with electricity. On this channel, I share my organization, my budget envelopes, my savings challenges, and my thoughts about this new stage of life, simply and at my own pace. 🎲 In this video, I'm sharing a recap of week 2 of July: expenses, savings, completing challenges, and an update on the jar challenge. This week, I received confirmation that my orthotic insoles are indeed covered by my health insurance—great news! I also realized that my Leisure envelope gives me real flexibility. Rather than putting the remaining money into my savings, I chose to keep it to add to the following week's budget so I can take my son out to dinner for his birthday. This is exactly the kind of flexibility I was looking for when setting up this system. 🎲 Tell me in the comments how you manage these types of expenses: do you sometimes carry over an envelope from one week to the next, or do you prefer a different approach?
