Out in the Blue – Small-scale fisheries Lives of the Coast
Out in the Blue, a videographic series within the Digi-Tide project (in collaboration with Abalobi), uses storytelling and animation to make complex ocean and fisheries challenges accessible, relatable, and actionable. This video aims to show how digitisation in small-scale fisheries—through tools like mobile catch reporting and ABALOBI Monitor—empowers fishers, strengthens transparency, and connects communities with decision-makers. The series is part of the Digital and Green Innovation action, supported by the European Commission and the Digital for Development (D4D) Hub, and implemented by Enabel Belgium in Enabel Tanzania.
