What a wonderful period film of the first 1961 Liège-Sofia-Liège Rally (replacing the Liège-Rome-Liège). The race would be won by Belgian racing legend Lucien Bianchi and his copilot Georges Harris in their Citroen DS-19. It was also, because of the dangerous and un-maintained unpaved roads in the then Yugoslavia, very hard on the cars since only 8 managed to finish out of the 89 starters!
