We have all had the experience of someone accusing us of doing something we are very clear we did not do. We typically get really defensive and try to justify or explain away the person's reactions. We often blame them and get angry that they are saying what they are saying. But all that does is makes the relationship fall apart. It creates distance instead of closeness and stirs up all kinds drama. What if you could say this one thing and it could change how that all goes? "I'm sorry, I can see that you are upset.
