What to Look for During a Roof Inspection | Pro Exteriors & Construction
Pro Exteriors & Construction highlights what to look for during a roof inspection. Every homeowner will eventually need to replace their roof. Consequently, when inspecting and assessing whether a roof needs to be replaced, look for a few things, such as: 1. Pipe Roots - Many of these deteriorate because of sun exposure. These areas need to be caulked and replaced over time. 2. Hail Damage – This shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering hail accounts for the majority of problems that are associated with roofs. 3. Check If Roof Has Been Maintained – Clear away any pesky pine needles or tree branches that can cause shingles to dry out. Also look to make sure the gutters aren’t clogged. 4. Find Any Leaky Shingles – Wind causes damage to shingles, and this can lead to flaps opening up. At that point, it’s possible for dirt and debris to get underneath and cause problems. If any of these 4 problems are present on a roof, then it’s time to consider making repairs or replacing the roof. It was started by Nate Schweppe after working for his family’s roofing business since he was around 12 years old. At Pro Exteriors & Construction we are a full service exterior remodel and restoration company. We are family and locally owned and operated. All of our employees are local and speak fluent English. We believe that bigger is rarely better and we focus on quality over quantity. We believe every client deserves our full attention from start to finish. We know exterior projects can be expensive, stressful and sometimes confusing, we strive to minimize or eliminate as much of that as possible. We believe in educating our clients on the options that fit their desires and budget and letting them make the decision rather than “selling” them a product or service, and believe in creating lasting relationships rather than one time sales. We believe in old fashioned customer service coupled with cutting edge products and services. ******************************************************************************************************* Let's Connect!
