If so, click here    • Virgin Voyages   Our first Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady cruise reaches its final chapter as we experience Scarlet Night, explore Corsica and Ibiza, try the four remaining onboard restaurants and reveal exactly what the entire seven-night trip cost us. After positive first impressions in Parts 1 and 2, it was time to experience the side of Virgin Voyages that gives the cruise line its biggest reputation. We begin with our first full sea day onboard Valiant Lady, including a Sailing Club cocktail party and dinner at Gunbae, Virgin’s lively Korean barbecue restaurant. Then, the whole ship turns red for Scarlet Night. From pop-up performances and live entertainment around the ship to the huge pool-deck finale, we find out whether Virgin’s signature event is genuinely enjoyable—or simply one enormous floating party. The following morning brings a complete change of pace as we arrive in Ajaccio, Corsica. We explore the historic streets, harbour, market and citadel, enjoy local seafood, Corsican wine, meats and cheeses, before returning to the ship for dinner at The Test Kitchen, Virgin Voyages’ experimental tasting-menu restaurant. Our final destination is Ibiza, where Valiant Lady remains in port overnight for around 20 hours. We explore Ibiza’s quieter side, including the ancient necropolis and the fortified old town of Dalt Vila, before returning to an almost deserted ship for dinner at Ariya by Razzle Dazzle. The following day, we continue exploring Ibiza before finishing the cruise with our final restaurant onboard, Extra Virgin.
