But in reality, it always seems to be more and more. The Dacia Dokker has a super large trunk, which I've retrofitted with a cargo net. This gives me much more peace of mind when transporting luggage during our vacation trip. The roof box Using the roof for storage is always a quick solution. The good thing is that you don't have to worry about transporting sharp objects in a box like this. With just the Marretoo roof bag, things are a bit more critical, and you have to be careful not to damage your roof. All that's left of the roof box are the two roof racks. I see them as additional protection for the roof bag when accelerating or braking. However, it made me feel more comfortable, so it wasn't a big problem to simply add another strap. With everything properly secured, the car roof and the contents of the roof bag remain undamaged. I didn't need to do this myself, so I can't offer any practical experience. In theory, however, this should provide a secure hold, as the eyelets are very securely attached to the car's bodywork between the closed car door and the roof. It will be significantly noisier and hopefully take longer to break into and empty a roof box than a roof bag. Two small padlocks are included, but in my opinion, they're too easy to pick. But what's the point of strapping a good lock to a zipper if the whole bag can be opened in a flash with a small knife?
