Yana Titova is a successful woman, the editor-in-chief of a glamorous fashion magazine. She's completely unfazed by the fact that at thirty-eight, she has no husband or children. But one day, circumstances conspire to force her to become a foster mother to a small, gypsy orphan named Yanko, for publicity. Adopting the boy in front of the entire country and making a big show of it, Yana has no idea that this wayward hooligan will turn her life upside down. Yanko will contradict his "foster mother" at every turn, disrupt her social events, interfere with her work, drive her hired nannies crazy, and drive away Yana's lovers.
