During our first week in Malaysia whilst staying in Langkawi, we heard from a few local people that there was a beautiful, colourful hidden gem just across the water in a place called Perlis! We honestly didn't do much research as we wanted to see it properly for the first time with our own eyes and we were not disappointed! The people here, from the moment we arrived, were so sweet and helped us in every way to get around, find food and accommodation and also to find the most beautiful spots! The moment we crossed the rainbow bridge it felt like we had walked inside of a rainbow with the people being as bright and vibrant as the colourlful houses that surrounded us. Also, we noticed in our few days here... there were no other tourists around! Other than 1 or 2 people who we saw going from the ferry to the bus station travelling between Penang and Langkawi missing out on this beautiful little hidden gem! So what are you waiting for...?
