We went to the Kuriyama Old-Established Shops Festival 2026, a major spring event in Kuriyama Town, Hokkaido! This time, we based ourselves at Hotel Paradise Hills and enjoyed the festival while relaxing in the hot springs and camping in our car. We toured the kibi-dango (millet dumpling) factory at Tanida Confectionery, lined up at Kobayashi Brewery for their limited-edition new sake, and enjoyed a blissful moment with a paid tasting. Furthermore, we seriously participated in the "Sake Tasting Competition"! The results were… We had an amazing time in the vibrant atmosphere of the venue. In the evening, we had a party in our campervan with friends, and the next day we enjoyed the famous offal set meal at the renowned restaurant Natoriya.
