Influenced by his father, he began playing guitar at age 12 and devoted himself to playing in bands. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in a vocational school with the goal of becoming a guitar maker. After graduation, he apprenticed under a famous maker, but unfortunately failed. In 2007, he began studying under Kenichi Hirata. In 2010, he joined Batitto del Sole, the band of Yota Miyazato, saxophonist for Tatsuro Yamashita's band. In 2011, he also began working as a guitar instructor. He currently participates in live performances and recordings with various musicians, both within and outside of Miyazaki Prefecture.
