Designed for homeowners Hemnath Balan and Poonam Hemnath who wanted to carry the warmth of their Kerala roots into an urban setting, this home is built around memory, emotion, and calm. Natural materials ground the space. Kota stone flooring brings familiarity and nostalgia, while handmade Athangudi tiles line the passages like quiet reminders of homes from another time. The interiors are shaped around art collected over years, including rare handcrafted Indian pieces and traditional forms like Pattachitra and more, making art a lived presence rather than just décor. Anantham is not about recreating the past, but remembering it. A home that slows you down, holds devotion gently, and proves that contemporary Indian homes can still be deeply rooted and personal.
