In this live stream, which took place on June 6th at 10 am, Veronica Damasceno discussed her postdoctoral research in philosophy involving the thought of Gilles Deleuze in its relation to the arts. The live stream focused on the multiplicity of arts as conceived by Deleuze, especially from his encounter with Félix Guattari. We also discussed creation and resistance, the people to come, overcoming clichés, fabulation, and clairvoyance. Veronica Damasceno is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (EBA/UFRJ). She holds a Postdoctoral degree in Philosophy from the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP (2010-2016) in partnership with the Department of Philosophy of the University of Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, UERJ (2008). Master's degree in Philosophy from UERJ (2002). Bachelor's and Licentiate degrees in Philosophy from UERJ (1999, 2004). Has experience in the field of Philosophy with an emphasis on Aesthetics, Metaphysics, History of Philosophy, and Secondary Education. Current research focuses on the relationship between Art and Philosophy in Gilles Deleuze.
