Caterham Seven 340R - Is there enough power for Nordschleife? đź‘€
Caterham Seven 340R is ready for trackdays straight from the factory. Mainly thanks to the roll cage. But is the Ford Duratec 1999cc, 4-cylinder, NA engine powerful enough for the long climbs on the Nordschleife? To be honest, there is not so much power to spare. So as a driver you have to make up for this elsewhere. It is in the late braking points and technical passages where 340R immediately catches up with others. This can be great fun for some drivers, but the other way around for the others - you get passed by an ordinary Cayman on every straight :) That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience with the 340R on the Nordschleife!
