Most expensive VS cheapest boulder in the climbing gym
Does the price and quality of climbing holds really matters when it comes to great route-setting? We teamed up with route-setter George Lonsdale at @theclimbinghangaruk to find out. George (head setter at TCH Matchworks and Liverpool Sandhills) was given a $50 dollar budget to set a bouldering problem and a $5000 dollar budget to set a bouldering problem. Both had to be bangers, but commercially viable and both problems are still up in the climbing gym for you to try. Will the $50 or the $5000 boulder problem win? ☞Follow George: / georgelonsdaleroutesetter 00:00 Introduction to George, Head Route Setter at The Climbing Hangar 02:34 Setting the Most Expensive Boulder 05:32 Setting the Cheap Boulder 11:23 Tweaking the Cheap Boulder 11:54 Testing the Boulders 17:13 Trying to climb the most expensive boulder Hannah Morris Bouldering T-Shirts & Stickers! ☞https://hannahmorrisbouldering.com/shop Follow Hannah: ☞Instagram: / _hannahmorris_ Follow Nathan: ☞ / nathanbetts_ Our Patreon: ☞ / hcemorris Our Local Climbing Wall: ☞ / tchsheffield Our Favourite Gear Shop: ☞www.outside.co.uk
