Taiyou Con 2026!

As big fans of Japanese anime, it was only a matter of time before we found our way to Taiyou Con here in Mesa Arizona! Bringing our friend with us this time, we stayed open to close on the last day of the event. So come along with us as I show off all of the things we saw and participated in! Arriving before it opened, we picked up our badges outside of the Mesa Convention Center and went inside of the show floor that had all of the booths selling anime or Japanese themed merchandise. We did a thorough look at all of the booths and stopped frequently to have our friend Amaya take pictures in her full cosplay outfit! She was dressed as Reze from the new Chainsaw Man movie that came out last year. Then we stopped for lunch in the outside area, and the three of us each ordered a different entree from three different food booths so you can see the variety that was offered. And while we were eating, there was a panel happening outside with the english voice actors from the Apothecary Diaries anime. Then we participated in the Kpop random dance that took place in front of the stage for 2 hours before the vendor hall was starting to close. Lastly we ran back into the hall to buy the merch we were thinking of getting that we did not buy already.
