Today I went all the way to Tecoluca, San Vicente, El Salvador 🇸🇻 to experience the famous Cashew Festival, where I tried EVERYTHING: artisanal drinks, traditional food, and combinations I'd never seen before 😳🔥 It was great right from the start… a guy decided to try the famous “man's drink” and the reaction was unexpected 😂🥴 During my visit, I found: ✔️ Cashew wine ✔️ Chaparro (a type of sweet bread) with cashew nuts ✔️ Cashew atole (a hot drink made with cashew nuts) ✔️ Cashew nuts ✔️ Cashew quesadillas ✔️ Potatoes with cashew nuts ✔️ And even a rigua (a type of hot drink) with curtido (a pickled cabbage relish) 🤯 I also spent time with local entrepreneurs and people who make this festival full of flavor, culture, and tradition possible.
