Our Kia K5 sedan has seen both heat and cold – and after 15,000 kilometers, we have plenty to criticize it for. And some praise, too. When this car with a two-liter engine in the Style trim level arrived in our fleet six months ago, it cost 2.08 million rubles. Now it's 2.28 million, and that's just the recommended retail price! K5 sedans are in demand, and dealers shamelessly mark them up by 300,000 and even 500,000 rubles. Prices for the Kia K5 generally start at 1.96 million rubles. The version with a more powerful 2.5-liter engine (194 hp versus 150 hp for the two-liter models) starts at 2.34 million rubles. The top-of-the-line version will cost (well, should cost) 2.71 million rubles. A good question: is it worth paying an extra 190,000 rubles for a 2.5-liter engine? Besides the more powerful engine, these cars have an eight-speed automatic transmission instead of a six-speed one.
