They’ve taken their futuristic 3D printed titanium and carbon construction, and added a Pinion gear box and Gates’ Carbon Drive. Why? Well, perfected axle paths, unsprung mass, centralised weight distribution, and the small thing of a €100,000 prize pot for the first Elite World Cup win on Gates’ belt might have had something to do with it.
