1300 Anglican Primates, Bishops, Priests and Lay people are gathered in Kigali for what will probably be one of the most important Anglican meetings of our lifetimes. The conference opening session featured addresses by Gafcon Chair Foley Beach, General Secretary Foley Beach and a welcome from Rwanda's Prime Minister Édouard Ngirente. Our first day's coverage includes foyer interviews with Foley Beach (USA), Glenn Davies (Australia), Jay Beyan (New Zealand), Andy Lines (UK), Stuart Bell (Wales), Alpha Lugola (Tanzania), Rico Tice (UK) and conference statement committee chair Michael Stead (Australia).
