ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Marilynne Roach is a leading expert on the history of the Salem witch trials. As a member of the Gallows Hill Project, she helped identify the historically accurate site of the Salem hangings—a feat named a Top 10 Archaeological Discovery by Archaeology Magazine. She is the author of "The Salem Witch Trials: A Day-by-Day Chronicle," widely considered the "Bible" of Salem scholarship, and an associate editor of the definitive "Records of the Salem Witch-Hunt." Rachel Christ-Doane is the Director of Education at the Salem Witch Museum. A graduate of Clark and Tufts Universities, she oversees historical curation and docent training for one of the world’s most visited sites of 1692 history. Her recent research includes high-profile publications for Smithsonian Folklife (2022) and American Ancestors (2023), focusing on the human tragedy of the youngest accused, Dorothy Good. Dr. Tricia Peone is a specialist in the history of magic and science in the early modern Atlantic world. As the Project Director for New England’s Hidden Histories, she bridges the gap between archival manuscript research and public history. She holds a PhD from the University of New Hampshire and frequently appears as a historical consultant for major media, including radio and television. ...................................
