After performing Sai puja at the temple, Mahalsapati expresses his desire to worship Sai Baba as well, and Sai grants him permission. Mahalsapati begins to perform the Aarti puja and applies a tilak to Sai, but Sai stops him. When asked to perform the Sai puja, Dwarika Nath and Kulkarni forbid Mahalsapati from performing the Sai puja, saying that his Sai puja is hurting their sentiments. Nanavali disguises himself as Hanuman to teach Dwarika Nath a lesson and has Kulkarni beat him. Dwarika Nath and Kulkarni come to Sai Baba's Aarti at Dwarika Mai to ensure that Mahalsapati does not worship Sai like a god by applying a sandalwood tilak. Mahalsapati, seeing them, refuses to perform the Aarti. This saddens him at night and he worries about his fears. The next day, everyone comes to Dwarika Mai to meet Sai, but they cannot find him. Everyone searches for Sai in Shirdi. Mahalsapati learns from a man that he saw Sai heading towards Rui village. To spite Sai, Mahalsapati sets off towards Rui village. Finding Sai, Mahalsapati tells him that he is neither God nor does he wish to be anyone's God. The people of Shirdi also reach out and persuade Sai to return to Shirdi. Sai agrees to Mahalsapati's request and returns to Shirdi. Sai Baba arrives in Shirdi and is welcomed by everyone. Mahalsapati asks Sai Baba why he acted this way, and Sai says he didn't act like it. Just then Khushalchand comes there and tells them that Sai did not do any drama and Sai did not leave Shirdi. Sai had gone to the border of Rui village Rahata and Shirdi with Oodi to save Shirdi from the disease of cholera and had drawn a line with that Oodi to stop the disease of cholera.
