Clickbait Events - EDA /Anti/Patterns | BSD 104
We're continuing our mini-series on Event-Driven Architecture anti-patterns – again with Oskar Dudycz. This time, however, we're starting with bloated events: one "universal" event that tries to please everyone at once. Another field, another ID "just in case," until we finally send half our database out into the world. Just like in Jurek's little poem about the string – someone adds a piece of paper, and it becomes a mountain of garbage. However, this is just an excuse to touch on the real topic: the division between what's public and what's private. Visit https://bettersoftwaredesign.pl for even more resources.
