💈 Scissor Haircut in Williams Only Barbershop | Electric Barbering Arizona

Scissor haircut at Electric Barbering which is the only barbershop on Route 66 in Williams, Arizona. Williams is known as the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon” and is a small town with a population of a little over 3,100. Calen Koenig, the shop owner, grew up in Williams but moved away to Portland for ten years before returning to his hometown. In 2019, Calen opened Electric Barbering - a place for the community to enjoy. He feels it is very important to make a difference in somebody's day and wants people to look forward to walking through his door. “People can come to the barbershop and it can change their day,“ Calen says, “I like that it is that kind of an experience. You can be having a bad day and come and get your hair cut and it can lift you up.” Calen wanted his barbershop to be timeless and inviting, and it’s a place that reflects his personal interests as well. He grew up playing in a local rockabilly band and keeps his guitar and double bass in the barbershop.  Now and again, Calen will play a few tunes between customers.
