You'll learn how to acquire new customers more successfully, convince them more easily, and more easily handle rejection and failure, which are simply part of successfully acquiring new customers. Do you always only take care of acquiring new customers when it's absolutely necessary? For example, when you hardly have any orders left or your boss tells you, "Now finally get on with acquiring new customers and get some new ones!"? Then you're not alone. Many people, whether self-employed or employed, prefer to focus exclusively on their regular customers. Possibly because they really take up a lot of their time. But perhaps also because "I don't have time for acquisition!" sounds better than "I'm afraid of acquisition!" or "I don't even know how to successfully acquire new customers!" In this presentation, you'll learn concrete acquisition tips, as well as a few anecdotes from my time in field sales, when I was still doing a lot of B2B acquisition. From my own experience, I know that acquisition conversations are often not that easy. In this presentation, you'll get answers to the following questions from me as a sales speaker: ➕ How do I conduct acquisition? ➕ What does customer acquisition have to do with successful price negotiations? ➕ How do you build commitment? ➕ How do I deal with critical points during initial contact? ➕ Why are there only winners in successful acquisition? Here are a few acquisition tips: ➽ Sell your offer to yourself first. You need to know why your offer is ideal for your target audience, but also communicate this. In practice, however, many providers fail to acquire customers because they can't easily understand why it's worth working with them. It's best to take a critical look at your website, your flyers, and your offer. ➽ Anyone who writes offers without selling has worked in vain. So build sufficient commitment by asking critical questions. After all, if you have no chance of winning the contract anyway, why write an offer? ➽ When acquiring new customers, it's also important to give your target customers the feeling of security that you're the optimal supplier. So, be sure to provide knowledge upfront. I do this intensively with all my videos here on YouTube, for example. Because if people like my videos, they'll be happy to contact me. And if they see me here but don't like me, they'll automatically spare me the trouble of contacting them – and we both save time. Acquisition is especially easy when you don't "need" the order or the customer, meaning you're not desperately dependent on the order and can therefore speak to your potential new customers with a healthy sense of indifference.
