Kit de 1ºs Socorros - A minha visão de um Kit completo (2ª Parte) #ifak #wildernessfirstaid
Part 2 🆘🩸🚑 Civil protection and even the EU say that we should have an emergency backpack at home, and one of the items that should be in it is a first aid kit 🚨 🆘 But nobody explains what this first aid kit should realistically contain. Because just listing individual items is easier 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ And this is important not only in an emergency backpack at home, but also in a backpack for outdoor activities. There's a saying: "He who walks in the rain gets wet" ☔️ And that also applies when we talk about First Aid, for those who spend time in outdoor activities 🩸🚑🏥 Physical activities carry a probability of accidents with consequent injuries. And being in places, far from immediate help, a first aid kit, as well as the items that are part of it, assume a critical importance. For me, the function of a first aid kit is not to deal with small cuts and scratches, like most of those bought in commercial stores. In my view, a first aid kit should, instead, have the capacity to deal with quite serious situations, to the point of transforming a recreational situation into a survival situation. Things like massive bleeding 🩸 that could kill us in less than 3 minutes, or situations that prevent us from moving to the point of preventing us from returning home, that's what the kit should help with. And help, not solve, because those are situations that require specialized care in an emergency unit, but help to "buy" enough time to stay alive until we get that specialized help 🚑⛑️🏥🩸 That's why I prefer the term "last aid" kit, which represents the last line of defense for staying alive, instead of first aid 🙏🧡 The problem is that, as I mentioned before, the vast majority of first aid kits that are sold come loaded with bandages and materials to deal with minor things, which, because they are not urgent, in my opinion defeat any usefulness of these kits. And that's why I'm completely in favor of each person building their own first aid kit, acquiring and assembling the items individually, instead of buying a ready-made one. And this should be done based on: ✅ their knowledge and technical skills ✅ what they are capable of doing in terms of mentally dealing with certain types of injuries ✅ the specific needs of each individual However, in general, any decent "First Aid" kit should allow us to deal with at least 7 aspects: ✅ Massive hemorrhages ✅ Fractures/Sprains ✅ Maintaining body temperature ✅ Rehydration ✅ Burns ✅ Bites ✅ Blisters and similar injuries Therefore, in this video we will have a short "discussion" about MY perspective, from the point of view of a survivalist, outdoor enthusiast, with several long stays in inhospitable environments and with about 16 years of accumulated knowledge absorbed from those who know more than me about the area of medicine and first aid. It will be the My perspective, thoroughly and rationally explained, aims to make you think about the various ways a truly useful first-aid kit can be put together, one that can save your life, instead of just a bunch of useless "trinkets" 🤔 We'll discuss each of the 7 aspects above in detail, as well as the various forms and materials we can use to help with each one, exceptions, and specific items for specific health conditions, etc. I think you'll like it 😉😉 Stay Safe, Stay Alive 🪓🪵🎒⛺️🌲🪓🔪🔥🫕🥘🥾☃️🏔️🐕 #bushcraftluso #edcgear #djidrone #victorinox #preppers #prepping #survivalism #Bushcraft #Survival #survivaltips
