Situated in the picturesque village of Dziridjumati on the right bank of the Supsa River, the monastery captivates with its ancient architecture and rich history. Built long before Shemokmedi Monastery, it long served as the seat of the Jumati Diocese. The monastery not only preserves religious traditions but also offers a unique experience of Georgian history and culture. Its walls recall the times when unique relics and valuable icons were kept here, many of which, unfortunately, have been lost. However, thanks to the efforts of believers and historians, the monastery continues to thrive and delight visitors with its atmosphere of spirituality and tranquility.
