Hello This is the second video in this series "Do It Right, BETTA Fish," where I shared several tips for breeding BETTA fish. In this new video, I share the best tips that have worked for me in keeping the newly hatched BETTA fish fry alive. Also, here in the description, I'll leave you some information about their diet. BETTA Fish Fry: Care I.- The most important rule for fry care is: STABLE TEMPERATURE. For any reason, avoid letting the temperature drop more than 3 degrees; it must be constant. II.- Water changes are essential to remove waste and ensure the fish have clean water, since you can't install mechanical filters. Therefore, you must make gradual and frequent changes. Remember that the temperature must not vary too much during these changes, or you will kill all the fish. Feeding 1. Feeding at birth: This is not necessary, as they feed on the reserves they accumulate after hatching (yolk sac). 2. As their digestive system develops, they begin to eat. This appears between 3 and 6 days after birth, just as the yolk sac disappears. You can observe this when the newborn fry lose their stomachs. At this point, the recommended food is infusoria. 3. Once the fish have grown, from the second to the fourth week, you can give them vinegar eaglet. This food must be very clean, or the vinegar will alter the water. 4. The next food you can give them is freshly decapsulated brine shrimp, which must be rinsed well to remove salt residue. It must not be given daily, or the fish will become ill. 5. It is suggested that brine shrimp be fed alternately with water fleas. This food should be pathogen-free and is one of the best foods you can give your fry, from this age until they reach adulthood. Make sure the water fleas you feed are smaller than the fry's mouth size. I recommend giving grindal worms and dry food once their mouth size is larger than the worms or they are fighting fish. This will ensure they have a varied diet from fry to juvenile fish. We'll discuss this topic in the next video. Enjoy the videos and thank you for visiting.
