Der Moos-Effekt: Geheimtipp für Encaustic-Bilder“ / RuthvonG
This encaustic painting was created using the indirect application of wax. Instead of applying the hot wax directly with the iron, I first melted it onto a fine paper towel. I then placed this towel on the painting paper and applied the wax with the iron. The result is a fascinating texture reminiscent of organic moss, damp stones, and grassy shores.
