Railfanning Amtrak & NJ Transit at Metropark 11-16-25: AMTK GP38-3s 738, 722, 642, NJT YM-40 & more!
Today was an absolutely incredible day at Metropark! I caught two Amtrak MOW moves; one was lite power going Northeast with two EMD GP38-3s: 739 & 722; and they came back later hauling a single flatcar: Colorado & Wyoming CW 7042. I also caught Siemens ACS-64 642, the Veterans Unit, leading Amtrak Train 54 the Vermonter and directly behind that train was NJT Equipment Move YM-40 with Bombardier ALP-46A 4645, Veterans Decal, and 4662 with its Pantographs down, 3 Bombardier MultiLevel Coaches: 7502, 7269, 7524, Alstom Comet V Cab Car 6052, 3 more Bombardier MultiLevels: 7638, Cab Car 7012, 7233, Alstom Comet V Cab Car 6073, and 4 GE Arrow IIIs: 1403, 1402, 1364, and 1365. My favorite catch of the day was finally catching a Phase VII Metroliner leading: 9635 leading 121 and I got a horn show from the engineer!
