TEST DRIVE AMPHIRANGER/AMPHIDUB
The AMPHIDUB we present is directly derived from the Amphi Range produced in Germany between 1985 and 1995 on an original project by Engel Trippel, already a designer of Volkswagen Schwimmwagen and English Amphicar. An Italian engineer has modified it by replacing the Ford 2800 engine with a Mercedes 250 engine and a more crowded and more fuel-efficient Mercedes 250, offering similar performance (125 km / h on the road and 12/15 km / h in water). It has 4x4 wheel drive and propeller propeller in water.
